Academic and Teaching Portfolio
I am a tutor on the BA (Hons) Illustration programme at the Open College of the Arts and a visiting tutor on the BA (Hons) Illustration course at Arts University Bournemouth.
Between 2007 and 2017 I worked as a senior lecturer at Srishti Institute of Art, Design and Technology in Bangalore, India where I founded the Storybook Lab, led classroom client projects in partnership with development organisations and taught illustration, visual communication and art practice to students across the Foundation, BA and MA programmes. I have also been an associate lecturer on the MA Fine Art Digital course at Camberwell College of Arts.
I am interested in teaching new and emerging contexts for illustration as well as intersections between art, illustration and design. This page documents some of the projects, courses and workshops that I have designed, taught and collaborated on.
